Susannah Iheme

Susannah Iheme was born in Florence in 1985 where she trained in modern and contemporary dance with teachers such as Samuele Cardini, Marina Giovannini, Monica Baroni. Subsequently, she perfected her skills in Italy and abroad, in particular studying in Israel at the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company.

She also undertakes a path of experimentation in the use of the voice and in physical theater.

He works as performer with Italian and international companies and artists such as: Marina Abramovic, Jérome Bel, Roberto Castello and Aldes, Ariella Vidach, Zaches Teatro, Giancarlo Cauteruccio’s Krypton Company.

She is co-founder of the artistic collective Gruppo M.U.D. – born in 2015 – with which she is dedicated to an interdisciplinary research work in collaboration with dancers, actors, musicians and artists related to visual arts.

She holds theater and movement workshops and works as a trainer in the Ass. Centro di Creazione e Cultura (formerly Fabbrica Europa), collaborating with the European network of artistic training Roots&Routes.
