BODYinTOUR

site specific

After the great success of the first presentation of BODYinTOUR, the Ariella Vidach AiEP company and Urban Experience return to Gunther von Hagens’ Body Worlds exhibition with an engaging performative action.

With over 35 million visitors in more than sixty cities around the world, “Body Worlds” brought the real world of the body to the Fabbrica del Vapore, with a unique exhibition aimed at revealing the secrets of human anatomy. In this context, the Ariella Vidach AiEP company was called to create a path of choreographic interventions, in which the dancers dialogue with the bodies exhibited in the exhibition.

A path that will guide spectators through the “CARNEM” photographic exhibition and then move within “Body Worlds”.

BODYinTOUR is a performative action that explores, with interactive dance forays, the relationships between the real and the imaginary. Participants will be able to experience this experience in an “immersive” way thanks to the use of radio headsets connected to a whisper transmitter with which they will be able to follow the Carlo Infante’s voice.

The dancers interact with the exhibition; their body becomes a vehicle of sounds and words whispered through headphones and videos projected in real time.

A dialogue between bodies in a fascinating encounter between science and art.
