Flavia Amato, passionate about art, music and entertainment, has as her main interests technological research for new artistic languages, human/machine interaction and anthropological/psychological study between people and new media.

After the classical high school diploma, she obtained a first level degree in Graphic Design – Business Communication at the Academy of Fine Arts in Catania, with the aim of understanding the psychological processes implemented in advertising. She spent periods of study abroad to improve his knowledge of English and French. She graduated with honors in New Technologies of Art – Net Art at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera discussing the research thesis “The Immersive Experience of our Mind” related to the practical project (interactive installation between mind and body) “INTERACTION I.0.” taking care of the visualization, with computer techniques, of emotional mindfulness and experimenting, as a personal purpose, the possibilities in the artistic field.

She carries out courses on the use of computer programs such as Unity software (Augmented and Virtual Reality) for individuals and companies. She has developed various applications and multimedia contents for museums, festivals and exhibitions. She collaborates with the Brera Academy as a Cultist of Matter for the “Multimedia Design” course and in the research laboratory of New Art Technologies. She currently works as a researcher and developer for the Ariella Vidach-AiEP company.
