AUDITIONS 2012 - research team

Choreographer Ariella Vidach intends to set off a period of movement research aimed to develop ideas for a new production and go deeper into the concept that lies underneath her work.

This period is meant to be of four months, from February through end of May 2012, with a three days per week schedule.

The imminent result of it would bring to a new work, which is meant to be the piece on the next Company tour.

The Company, altogether, is willing to rearrange its frame to give more continuity to its productions, therefore, the second, not less important, result of this period is to foster a new group of dancers on a longer term perspective.

Applicants (male and female) are required to have an excellent dance technique (ballet and release), to be experienced at improvisation and composition, to be interested in and ready at working for a period on movement research, to be available at developing within the company one’s own dance language and merging it in a joint vocabulary as a company trademark. Applicants are aware that this may take some time and shared work with the choreographer on essential principles. Thus they must be informed that they will be rewarded on a forfait salary, that will be granted only for those who accomplish the first period on the whole. Terms and conditions will be upgraded as soon as the work is ready to be performed and on the future productions.
