Dance in Motion Capture
Daimoco is an interdisciplinary artistic-scientific research; the focus is on movement and its transfer to a system of audiovisual signs to experience and develop the real-time relationship between human body’s motion, sound and images. The dancer, alone on the stage, creates sounds and visual effects through the choreography, so that evry movement has a 3D alter-ego.
Dance and gesture generate a “body language” made of synthetic voices and animated words.
The Motion Capture system used for the show is Polhemus, the most suitable for dance.
